Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: From £13 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, temp to perm

Are you enthusiastic about helping children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) thrive? We are looking for dedicated SEN teaching assistants to join schools in Hemel Hempstead, providing one-to-one support and tailored learning experiences that make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Do:
Support pupils with a variety of SEND needs, assisting their learning and personal growth
Help deliver individual education plans (IEPs) and bespoke learning activities
Encourage confidence, independence, and essential life skills
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting children with SEND (including SEMH, autism, or other additional needs) is desirable but not essential
Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children succeed
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and wellbeing
A full driving licence is preferred to assist with travel between sites if needed
