SEN Teaching Assistant Job Vacancy
SEN Teaching Assistant role in: North Birmingham
Starting date: Immediate, full time
Salary: £90 - 110 per day, dependant on experience
Temporary, ongoing Contract
Full Time Vacancy (8:30am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday)SEN Teaching Assistant Specification
We are currently seeking a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time job in a specialist school in North Birmingham. This is working with secondary aged children with a range of learning and complex needs. There may be elements of personal care in this role due to the nature of the children's needs.
To be considered you must have a passion for supporting SEND learners and have an expert knowledge of the school curriculum, along with and having a caring and nurturing approach to your work.
You must be a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (level 2 or 3 minimum)
Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND system
Have worked with ASD/Complex/Medical needs
Personal care experience (desired, not essential)
Be able to nurture and support with SEND
Ideally have worked at least 12 months within Special Needs
Safeguarding level 1 trained
Dedicated to supporting young SEND learnersThe school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant
