The Role – Where You’ll Make a Difference:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring children feel supported, confident, and able to achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, and social/emotional challenges
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
Assisting teachers with tailored learning plans and activities
Encouraging independence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
Providing support with personal care or mobility where required
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Who We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for:
Individuals with experience supporting children or young people in education, care, or SEN settings
Graduates in Psychology, Nursing, Childhood Studies, Health & Social Care or related fields, seeking hands-on experience before progressing into teaching, SEN support, or educational psychology
