About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wandsworth. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.
Assist class teachers with planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
Encourage social, emotional, and academic development in students.
Promote independence and inclusion within the classroom.
Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Proactive, patient, and flexible approach to support.
Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
