About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
Promote inclusion and encourage independence among students.
Support pupils with their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A proactive, patient, and flexible approach to support.
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
