We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - in Year 1
The Role:
Join our inclusive primary school in Greenwich and make a real difference. You will support students' academic, social, and emotional development, work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals in partner schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored lessons for students with SEND.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
Support the social and emotional development of students
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Prepare and organise learning materials and resources
Monitor and record student progress, reporting to teachers
Support students during school activities, outings, and events
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to support student needsQualifications and Experience:
Experience working with children from EYFS - KS5, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong knowledge and understanding of SEND practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
