Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Lower KS2 - SEN Support) Employer: Tradewind Recruitment (on behalf of a primary school in Stockbridge Village, Knowsley) Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 pro rata per annum Additional: SEN Allowance of £1,539 pro rata (where applicable) Actual Salary: £16,502 - £16,764 per annum + £993 SEN allowance (if applicable) Hours: 26.25 per week / Term Time Only (46 weeks) Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2026 (linked to SEN pupil funding) Start Date: 3 November 2025 DBS Check: Enhanced Closing Date: 12pm, Friday 24th October 2025 The Role Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a primary school in the Stockbridge Village area of Knowsley in their search for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This role is long term, working 26.25 hours per week, supporting children in Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3) with a particular focus on pupils with special educational needs. You will be a vital part of the classroom team, providing targeted support to enable every child to access learning, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.
