The Role
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a primary setting in Huyton who are seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND) to support children with a range of additional needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills in a nurturing environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
Experience of working with children in a primary school, including those with SEND
Knowledge of strategies and interventions to support a range of needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech & language difficulties)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively with children, colleagues, parents, and external professionals
A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach with a commitment to inclusion
A proven record of excellent attendance and reliability
