SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN School – Southwark Location – Immediate Start
***SEN Teaching Assistant required for SEN School
***SEN Teaching Assistant required for Southwark location
***SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with ASD and Complex Needs
***SEN Teaching Assistant required so suppprt students on a 1:1 basis
***SEN Teaching Assistant required ASAP
The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
* Provide tailored 1:1 support for children with ASD and other SEN needs.
* Assist teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities.
* Support colleagues with personal care responsibilities where required.
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
* Follow all school policies, including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Behaviour Management, and Health & Safety.
Requirements – SEN Teaching Assistant
* Previous experience supporting children with ASD and associated behavioural needs.
* At least 3 months’ experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (or equivalent).
* A genuine commitment to working with children with special educational needs.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour and respond calmly to difficult situations.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to tailor support to meet individual pupil needs.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and a proactive team player with plenty of patience.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Passionate about creating a positive impact in the lives of children with SEN.
The School - SEN Teaching Assistant

This SEN School caters to 101 students between the ages of 5 – 16 with ASD and complex needs.
