Tradewind Recruitment are working with SEN schools that are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.
About the Role:
This is not a typical classroom support job. You'll be working with pupils who may have:
Autism (ASC)
ADHD
SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs
Communication difficulties or sensory needsYour day will involve:
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Working one-to-one or in small groups in and out of the classroom
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver holistic care and educationThe Ideal Candidate:
Resilient, calm and compassionate - behaviour is communication
Experienced in working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH
A natural de-escalator, with strong boundaries and a supportive presence
A team player who's ready to learn and grow in a specialist settingRequirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Relevant experience or transferable skills
