Location: Horley (RH6), Redhill (RH1)
Contract: Full-Time
⏰Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Weekdays only⏰

Pay: £89 - £105 per day

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting individual pupils or small groups with a range of learning needs, helping to remove barriers to learning and enabling every child to reach their full potential. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support and create an inclusive, nurturing environment.
Ideally candidate will be able to drive as their site in Horley is in a very rural area where public transport is not very accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide close support for pupils with special educational needs
Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Promote a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment
Monitor and record pupils’ progress, feeding back to staff and parents
Help manage behaviour and emotional regulation using positive interventions
About You:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow direction and use initiative when required
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) desirable
