Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a significant impact? This is a great opportunity to join a 'Good'-rated primary school in Croydon. You'll be working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream environment, providing vital 1:1 support to a pupil with specific needs. This is an ongoing position with strong potential for a permanent role.

You'll collaborate closely with teachers, the SENCo, and other support staff, contributing to a dynamic and accessible curriculum designed to empower every student to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing bespoke support aligned with a pupil's specific SEN, including communication and learning challenges.
Assisting with personalised learning activities, adapting resources, and supporting the development of independence and life skills.
Implementing effective communication and positive behaviour support strategies.
Working proactively with the class teacher and external professionals.
Requirements:
Proven experience supporting primary-aged children with specific needs.
An adaptable, patient, and resilient approach to meeting individual pupil needs.
A strong understanding of various SEN diagnoses and effective support strategies.
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with the pupil, staff, and parents.
