We are working with a leading specialist provider of primary education to find a motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a primary school located in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners, particularly within the special educational needs (SEN) sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality classroom support to pupils, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support that meets individual pupil needs
* Assist in the planning and implementation of learning activities and classroom routines
* Support students with SEN to promote their social and academic development
* Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized classroom environment
* Support the inclusion of all pupils, fostering independence and confidence
* Personal care responsibilities
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary or SEN setting
* Strong communication and teamworking skills
* Be competent with personal care
* A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one
* Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
