SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary – Bradford Bradford | Full-time or Part-time| ️ September start | Kind, calm, and ready to change a child’s day? Read on. We’re working with a range of warm, inclusive primary schools across Bradford who are on the lookout for brilliant SEN Teaching Assistants. You’ll be supporting children with autism, learning difficulties, and social and emotional needs—helping them shine both one-on-one and in small groups. If you’ve worked with SEND before, great. If you’ve worked with young people in any setting and know how to build trust and bring the calm, that’s a great start too. A brilliant opportunity for recent graduates who want hands-on experience working with young people—perfect for anyone considering a career in education, psychology, or youth work! What the role involves: Supporting individual pupils with ASC, SEMH or learning difficulties Working closely with class teachers to tailor activities Creating a safe, positive environment where pupils can thrive Being the steady, encouraging presence every child needs What we’re looking for: Experience working with children or young people (school-based or not!) A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach. Great communication and teamwork skills Experience working with individuals with SEN is a plus—but not essential. Must hold a strong understanding of SEN. A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive—especially those who need a little extra care and encouragement. Available a minimum of 3 days per week between Monday to Friday. Must be available to work full school hours (8:30am–3:30pm). Why work with us?
