About the Role
As a SEMH teaching assistant, you will support pupils across key stage 1 and key stage 2 who experience challenges with emotional regulation, social skills, and behaviour. You will:
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may be vulnerable or at risk
• Provide tailored interventions that promote self-esteem, resilience, and positive emotional development
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external agencies
• Create safe and structured spaces that support both learning and emotional growth
