SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN Hub
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Hours: 8:45am - 3:30pm
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our SEN Hub, providing support to children with a range of special educational needs. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about making a difference in pupils' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with special educational needs in the SEN Hub
Deliver 1:1 or small group support as directed by the SENCo
Assist with implementing personalised learning plans and interventions
Support emotional regulation, social skills, and behaviour management
Work closely with teaching staff to create an inclusive and engaging environment
Monitor and record pupil progressRequirements:
Experience working with children with SEN (preferred)
Understanding of strategies to support SEND pupils
Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
