Simply Education is currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Lincoln on a day-to-day supply basis for the new academic year.
Role Overview:
Starting in September 2025, you will support pupils aged 4 to 11 with a range of special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings. You'll play a vital role in helping learners access the curriculum, manage their emotions, and thrive in the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support to pupils with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges, and emotional needs
Assist in delivering engaging, differentiated activities
Support children's social and emotional development throughout the school day
Encourage independence while maintaining a safe environment
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting children in a primary or SEN setting (school-based or equivalent)
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Confidence in following behaviour support strategies and adapting to different classroom needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
