The Role
This role focuses on working with key stage 1 and key stage 2 pupils who present with challenging behaviours linked to social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You’ll:
• Provide tailored behavioural and learning support to individual students or small groups
• Work collaboratively with the SENCO, class teachers, and external specialists
• Help build trust, consistency, and a sense of safety for pupils requiring structured support
• Use strategies such as de-escalation techniques, reward systems, and structured routines
