SEN Teaching Assistant - Weston-Super-Mare
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Weston-Super-Mare. This rewarding role offers the chance to support children with complex needs and challenging behaviours, helping them to engage in learning, develop life skills, and build confidence.
Responsibilities:
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Work with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored plans
Use positive behaviour management strategies
Assist with personal care when required
Encourage social, emotional, and academic growthRequirements:
Experience supporting children with SEN or behavioural needs
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
GCSEs in English and Maths (C/4 or above)
Additional SEN/childcare qualifications desirableWhat's on Offer:
