SEN Teaching Assistant – Partington
Location: Partington, Trafford
Contract: Long-Term / Potential for Permanent
Pay: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)
School: Ofsted-rated Good Primary School
Cover People are proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Partington, who are looking to appoint several SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and behavioural needs.
The school prides itself on its caring, child-centred approach and its strong focus on helping every child succeed — both academically and emotionally.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support plans.
Encourage positive learning behaviours and emotional regulation.
Help create a safe, structured and nurturing environment for all learners.
About You:
Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
Calm, patient and resilient, with strong communication skills.
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
