Smart Teachers are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within its partner mainstream schools in the Wandsworth borough. About the role You will be expected to support a pupil with additional needs across KS1 & KS2  Work alongside a speech and language therapist to help improve child's verbal communication Use Phonics and Makaton to effectively communicate with the child Full time role starting in September 2025, 08:30-16:00 About the schools 1& 2 form entry schools in Wandsworth  Supportive Leadership who supports staff in their role with children who have SEN Great school enviroments that recieve great feedback from our staff that work within the schools All schools have good access to public transport links  Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will: Have an understanding of phonics/makaton Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Have previous experience supporting children with SEN Smart Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
