SEND Teaching Assistants - Class Based Support | Mainstream Primary | Long-Term Role | Training and Development | Specialist Support from Day One
Looking to make a meaningful difference while gaining real classroom experience? This is a unique opportunity to join an inclusive, community-focused mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets, supporting children with additional needs in a blended classroom setting.
The Role:
We’re seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to join a nurturing team this September. You’ll work as part of a collaborative classroom support structure - combining general TA responsibilities with tailored support for pupils with EHCPs.
Pupils may present with needs such as:
🔹 Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
🔹 Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
🔹 ADHD and attention difficulties
🔹 Speech, Language & Communication needs (SLCN)
You’ll support the class as a whole, while giving focused, inclusive support to the children who need it most - enabling them to access learning, feel secure, and thrive socially and academically.
