Job Description
SEN Tutor
Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
Assist students in developing study skills and strategies
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of the UK education system
Ability to create individualised learning plans
Strong problem-solving skills
Patience and empathy
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
Training in specific SEN interventions
Working Conditions:
Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
Working closely with students and their families
Collaborating with other professionals in the education sector

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
