SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
Assist students in developing study skills and strategies to improve academic performance
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning goals
Required Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification
Experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge of SEN regulations and best practises
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Knowledge of different learning styles and teaching strategies
Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in Special Education or related field
Experience with assistive technologies for students with SEN
Working Conditions:
Part-time hours, flexible schedule
Work may be conducted in schools, students' homes, or online
Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
