Job Description

Do you have experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you confident in planning and delivering personalised sessions in English and Maths? If so, we'd love to hear from you! We're seeking dedicated Tutors to work with young people across a wide age range-from Primary to Post-16-who require tailored support to thrive in their learning. About the Role: You'll be working with learners who benefit from bespoke, one-to-one tuition. Many of our students have complex needs, including: SEN and SEMH Autism (ASD), ADHD, PDA Trauma and medical conditions Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Global Learning DelayYour role will involve planning and delivering engaging sessions in English and Maths, adapted to meet each learner's unique needs. As a Tutor, you will: Deliver personalised tuition in English and Maths. Support learners with a wide range of additional needs. Plan and deliver sessions that are engaging, accessible, and goal-oriented. Be flexible and responsive to each learner's individual circumstances. Maintain professional standards and safeguarding practices. Communicate effectively with families and professionals. About You: You have experience working with learners with SEN and complex needs. You're confident in planning and delivering tailored educational sessions. You're adaptable, empathetic, and committed to supporting young people. You're available during school hours (Monday to Friday), either part-time or full-time. You're professional, reliable, and passionate about inclusive education.Position -Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Varied Hours - Various/ flexible hours Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people Experience of working with learners with SENTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
