About the Role:
As an SEN Tutor, you will provide one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including:
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
ADHD
SEMH needs
Speech and Language difficulties
Learning difficulties and additional support needsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver personalised and engaging tuition sessions
Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
Build positive relationships with students and families
Support students' academic progress, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
Monitor progress and provide feedback where requiredRequirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Experience tutoring or teaching preferred
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
