SEN Tutor – Maldon, Essex
£30 to £35 per hour
* Home tuition, family home in Maldon and Dengie district
* 6 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 2-hour sessions, ideally 10:30 to 12:30)
The Role
We are looking for a calm, patient SEN Tutor to support a Year 8 student on a 1:1 basis at home. The student has autism, ADHD and dyspraxia, with significant anxiety and difficulty regulating emotions. As SEN Tutor, you will deliver bridging provision in Maths, English and Science, helping to close gaps ahead of a school transition in January 2027.
What We're Looking For
* Experience as an SEN Tutor supporting learners with autism, ADHD and emotional dysregulation
* Understanding of low-demand, relational approaches
* Calm, patient and highly reliable
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
