Seeking Dedicated SEN Tutors for Tailored Intervention in Maidstone! £27 per hour. Plus - for every 5th hour worked, you'll receive an extra hour's pay for planning and prep time! Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you thrive on providing personalised, one-to-one support to help students reach their full potential? If so, we want YOU to join our team as an SEN Tutor! Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking skilled and compassionate individuals to provide tailored intervention to pupils with Special Educational Needs in Maidstone. As an SEN Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who are not currently attending a named school provision, in alignment with their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and any other relevant supporting documentation. This is an ongoing role with the potential to support a range of students over time - or continue working with one student until a suitable full-time provision is secured. Enjoy flexibility in your schedule - both part-time and full-time availability are welcome! Tuition bookings typically cover 15 hours per week (you will be paid for 18 hours), and you'll liaise with parents/carers to set a learning schedule that works for both parties. Key Responsibilities - SEN Tutor: Deliver tailored one-to-one intervention sessions to students with SEN, helping them meet key academic and developmental goals. Support students' personal and educational growth based on individual needs and aspirations. Apply effective strategies to overcome learning challenges. Work collaboratively with families, educators, and professionals to provide holistic support. Maintain accurate progress and attendance records. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN, ideally in an educational setting. A sound understanding of EHCPs and the ability to deliver interventions in line with specified needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and families.
