Are you an experienced teacher ready to break away from the classroom and truly transform young lives?
Prospero Teaching is on the lookout for passionate and dedicated SEN Outreach Tutors to work 1:1 with children and young people who are currently out of mainstream education in the London Borough of Bromley. These are not just tutoring sessions - they are life-changing opportunities to rebuild confidence, reawaken curiosity, and reignite a love for learning.
What You'll Do
You'll design and deliver highly personalised, engaging lessons that meet each student exactly where they are - academically, emotionally, and socially. These young people may have been out of education for months or even years, and your role will be to help them believe in themselves again.
Plan and teach creative, goal-focused 1:1 lessons
Build trust and boost self-esteem
Reintroduce routine, motivation, and joy into learning

Role Details
Location: Across Bromley and surrounding areas
Position: Outreach SEN Tutor
Start date: ASAP
Hours: Flexible - from 1 to 3 hours per session
Rate: From £25 per hour, based on experience
Contract Type: Temporary (Part-time or full-time available)
Duration: Varies by student needs
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent)
Minimum 6 months' teaching experience in UK schools
Compassion, resilience, and a love of 1:1 teaching
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Two child-related references from the last two years
