Job Description
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs? Remedy Tutors is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutors in Portsmouth to provide tailored, 1:1 support to learners outside of a mainstream setting.
💡 About the Role:
As an SEN Tutor, you will work with students who may be out of school, transitioning between settings, or in need of additional support to thrive academically and emotionally. Your role is to create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment that meets each learner’s unique needs.
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting learners with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, etc.)
*
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching
*
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*
QTS or tutoring/mentoring experience preferred (but not essential)
*
DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
