We’re seeking a strong mentor-type SEN Tutor to work 1:1 with a Year 11 male student who has medicated ADHD and has been out of school for several years. Your role will be to reintroduce him to learning in a way that feels safe, achievable, and motivating.
About the Role:

Deliver personalised tuition in a quiet, structured environment at Wallingford Library
*
Focus on core subjects, building both knowledge and life skills
*
Act as a mentor, supporting re-engagement with education and positive routines
*
2 hours per day, 2 days a week (set during school hours)
Who We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting students with ADHD and long-term absence from education
*
Confident, encouraging, and able to earn trust quickly
*
Adaptable teaching style, with a focus on building rapport and resilience
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) essential
