SEN Tutor
Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practises in SEN education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different learning styles and how to adapt teaching methods accordingly
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
Experience using assistive technology in education
Working Conditions:
Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
Work may involve travel to different educational settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
