Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting experienced tutors to deliver GCSE Maths, English, or both in Bognor Regis and nearby areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your local community.
As a Tutor, you will:
Deliver high-quality, engaging tuition sessions
Support students in building confidence and improving academic outcomes
Work independently or as part of a wider support team
Maintain accurate records of progress and engagement
About you:
Minimum 1 year of experience working with young people in one or more of the following roles:
Teaching Assistant (TA)
1:1 Support
Cover Supervisor
Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Teacher
Tutor
Or another relevant educational role
Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Maths and/or English
Ability to build rapport and tailor sessions to individual learning needsPosition - Mentor
Contract or position start date - ASAP
Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A
Full time/part-time - Varied
Hours - 10 per week- 2 per day- Monday to Friday- Flexible timings
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people as a TA, 1:1, Cover Supervisor, LSA, Teacher, Tutor, or another related field- ESSENTIAL
Experience of working with learners with SEN/ SEMH needs- ESSENTIAL
Confident to deliver up to GCSE Maths, English or both
Trauma informed- DESIRABLE
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)Before You Apply
