Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting a dedicated SENCO to join a thriving secondary school in South West London, supporting an inclusive learning environment and ensuring the highest outcomes for students with SEND.
You'll work alongside a strong leadership team and SEN department, committed to delivering quality first teaching and targeted interventions that enable all learners to succeed.
About the Role
This is a leadership position with responsibility for:
Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice (2014)
Leading the implementation of the school's SEND policy
Accurately identifying and assessing SEND needs
Developing and embedding inclusive teaching strategies
Delivering high-quality CPD to teaching staff
Monitoring and tracking the progress of students with SEND
Leading the SEND provision and maintaining the SEND profile
Liaising with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and external agenciesWhat We're Looking For
QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree
National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete training)
Proven experience in a secondary school SENCO or inclusion role
Strong understanding of national curriculum priorities and SEND legislation
Experience delivering staff training and leading on inclusion
