An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced and committed SENCO to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bicester. The school is widely respected for its inclusive ethos, academic achievement, and strong pastoral support. It is seeking a qualified SENCO with the vision and leadership to drive forward SEND provision and ensure every child can thrive.
As part of the school’s senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping inclusive strategy and practice, working closely with teachers, TAs, families, and external specialists. You will oversee EHCPs, lead assessments and interventions, and develop staff training to promote high standards of teaching and learning for students with additional needs. The school offers a warm and collaborative environment, where staff wellbeing and student outcomes are equally prioritised.
The successful candidate will be NASENCO qualified (or working towards completion) and will have a proven track record in raising outcomes for students with SEND. A strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to equity and inclusion are essential.
