A well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Verwood is seeking a skilled and committed SENCO to lead its Special Educational Needs provision from September. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school is known for its nurturing approach, high standards, and commitment to meeting the needs of all learners.
As SENCO, you will manage the SEND team, maintain the SEND register, and support teaching staff with strategies for differentiation and inclusive learning. You will oversee the implementation and review of EHCPs, liaise with external agencies, and provide staff CPD in line with the Code of Practice. The school is investing further in its Learning Support facilities and places inclusion at the heart of its improvement plan.
