Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR
An exceptional secondary school in Reading is seeking a SENCO to lead their SEND provision and champion inclusion across all key stages. This is a strategic and pastoral role suitable for a passionate teacher with a vision for supporting every learner to succeed.
Main Responsibilities:

Coordinate SEND support across the curriculum and pastoral systems
*
Ensure full compliance with statutory SEND frameworks
*
Lead a team of Learning Support Assistants and liaise with external agencies
*
Deliver SEND CPD to staff and support inclusive lesson planning
*
Maintain EHCPs, organise reviews, and ensure personalised provision for learners
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified teacher with a NASENCO or commitment to complete one
*
Strong SEND experience with a deep understanding of student needs
*
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and administrative skills
*
A collaborative, proactive mindset and clear vision for inclusion
