About the SENCO role
Join a 2-3 form entry primary school rated Good by Ofsted.
Work closely with a supportive SLT and a dedicated team of therapists (Occupational, Play, and Speech & Language).
Lead on SEN provision across the school, ensuring every child has the right support to thrive.
Full-time SENCO position with opportunities for professional development and training.
SENCO responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate SEN provision across the school.
Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Manage EHCPs, interventions, and individualised support plans.
Ensure inclusive practice and support teaching staff in delivering high-quality SEN provision.
SENCO requirements
Ideally at least 1 year of SENCO experience in a mainstream school.
A passion for working with vulnerable children and those with additional needs.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Willingness to undertake training if required.
