A rated “GOOD” 2 form entry school based in South East London is looking for a committed and dedicated SENCO to join their Inclusion and Teaching team.

The role
In addition to classroom teaching responsibilities, you would be overseeing and coordinating provisions and adjustments for children with special education/ additional needs within the school.
* Monitor, design, and implement effective support strategies for children with special educational needs.
* Identify pupils with additional needs and coordinate appropriate assessments.
* Manage records, track pupil progress, and liaise with school leadership regarding provisions and outcomes.
* Coordinate and lead the Inclusion Team, ensuring up-to-date information and strategies are shared.
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver CPD/training to staff to minimise learning gaps and promote overall progress and development
We are looking for:
* Strong SEND knowledge, SEN Law and Code of Practice
* Strategic leadership contributing to developing inclusive practice and whole school development
* Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies, support service and education/health professionals
Qualifications
* Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) Essential
* The National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or National Professional Qualification (NPQ) Essential
