Job Title: SENCO Manager Location: Staffordshire - Centre based Salary: up to £42,000 (Depending on experience) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + Much More! Type: Full Time, Permanent Criteria: Qualified teacher with QTS / QTLS / CTLLS (or equivalent). Level 7 qualification in Access Arrangements (or equivalent). Experience in regional inclusion/SENCO roles. Hold or be willing to work towards a SENCO qualification (e.g. NPQ SENCO). Strong background in SEND provision. Skilled in managing SEND support, tailoring interventions, and implementing exam arrangements.Duties: Responsible for overseeing the Special Educational Needs Education provision, and leading a team of Learning Support staff who support learners with SEND needs across a variety of subjects. Implementation of CPD plans for the delivery team and conduct observations to ensure that their ability to support SEN learners is improved and maintained. Assess and agree on support plans for learners aged 15-18, who present complex learning needs. Lead on and conduct EHCP annual monitoring reviews in line with LA guidance. Support wider operational needs of the education department Oversee SEND policy, maintain accurate SEND register, and ensure compliance with the SEND code of practice.Please note: KM Recruitment receive a high number of applications for each role advertised and although we would like to we are not always able to deliver feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
