SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) – ASAP Start Location: Princes Risborough Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent) Salary: £160 - £230 per day DOE Start Date: ASAP SEND Inclusion Support is proud to be working in partnership with a nurturing and forward-thinking school in Princes Risborough, seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join their team immediately until at least the end of the academic year. For the right candidate, this role may become permanent. About the School: The school provides high-quality education and support to children and young people with a diverse range of complex needs, including: * Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) * Communication and Interaction difficulties * Associated challenging behaviour With a holistic and therapeutic approach, the school is committed to empowering every student to thrive both academically and emotionally. About the Role: As SENCO, you will play a vital role in: * Leading the development and implementation of the school’s SEN strategy * Coordinating support for students with a wide range of needs * Working closely with the leadership team, teaching staff, parents, and external agencies * Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice * Supporting staff with strategies and interventions to manage challenging behaviour effectively The Ideal Candidate Will: * Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it) * Have experience supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs * Be passionate about inclusion and making a difference * Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills * Have a calm, empathetic, and flexible approach Why Apply? * Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment * Potential for a permanent role * Work in a school that values collaboration, compassion, and resilience * Ongoing professional development and support Interested?
