Salary: £94 - £100 per day

Are you a patient and dedicated SEND 1:1 Support who can build strong relationships with pupils?

Are you looking for a rewarding SEND 1:1 Support role in a welcoming primary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough. The school has a strong inclusive ethos and is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs through a nurturing and supportive environment.

The school is looking to take on a SEND 1:1 Support on a long term basis starting ASAP. The successful SEND 1:1 Support will work closely with a pupil with SEND, including ASD and additional learning needs, providing tailored 1:1 support to help them access the curriculum and engage positively in the classroom.

The successful SEND 1:1 Support will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working as a SEND 1:1 Support in a primary school
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and additional needs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support where needed
