Drama HLTA or Qualified Teacher – Part-Time, SEND School Location: Rochester, Kent Contract Type: Part-Time, Long-Term Supply Start Date: ASAP – Until the end of the academic year Are you a passionate HLTA or qualified teacher with a flair for Drama? This nurturing and inclusive school offers a bespoke curriculum tailored to the individual needs of its students and is renowned for its warm, supportive staff team. They are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA or qualified teacher who ideally has experience or a passion for Drama, to deliver engaging Drama lessons on a part-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a caring school community and inspire students through creative expression. About the Role: Part-time position delivering Drama sessions across the school (flexible days/times available). Teaching and supporting pupils with a wide range of learning needs, including ASD and SEMH difficulties. Working as part of a highly supportive team to engage learners through a tailored curriculum. Encouraging creativity, confidence, and communication through Drama and performance-based activities. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable. A strong interest or background in Drama, theatre, or creative arts. HLTA status or QTS preferred, but not essential for the right candidate with relevant experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and a nurturing, patient approach.
