HLTA - SEN Secondary School - Lambeth
Daily Rate: £110 - £120 | Full-Time | Ongoing Role
We are looking for a committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive SEN secondary school in Lambeth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.
The Role:
Supporting students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and complex learning needs.
Delivering targeted interventions and small group work.
Covering lessons in the absence of a teacher.
Assisting with lesson planning and adapting resources to meet individual needs.
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure every student can thrive.
Requirements:
HLTA qualification or significant experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students effectively.
Confident classroom management skills.
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach.
