Job Description
As a SEND Learning Mentor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young people with diverse additional needs—working one-to-one and in small groups, your efforts go beyond academic support. You’ll build trust, offer thoughtful guidance, and help pupils develop coping strategies that make school feel safe and accessible.
Day to day, you'll assist students in regulating their emotions, managing routines, and re-engaging with learning in ways that suit their individual strengths. Whether you’re a motivator or a calming presence, your consistent support will make a tangible difference. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and families, you'll bring individual learning plans to life and champion each pupil’s progress.
