Hello Education is working with fantastic Primary Schools in Darlington that are looking for caring and confident Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) this September.

Your September Mission:As a Learning Support Assistant working with SEN pupils, you'll play an essential part in helping children thrive in the classroom and beyond.
1:1 & Small Group Support – Work closely with pupils with additional needs (including autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and learning delays), helping them access the curriculum and build confidence.
Learning Champion – Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Patience in Practice – Handle challenges with calmness, consistency, and compassion.
Trusted Adult – Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, offering emotional reassurance and encouragement.
️ Behaviour Supporter – Promote positive behaviour and use de-escalation strategies when needed.
Empowerment Partner – Foster independence, self-esteem, and social skills that help pupils thrive long-term.
We’re Looking for SEN Superstars Who:️ Have experience (or a strong desire to gain experience) working with children with additional needs in a UK school or care setting.
️ Understand the importance of routine, empathy, and consistency in supporting SEN pupils.
️ Communicate clearly and kindly—with pupils, staff, and parents.
️ Hold (or are willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS check.
️ Bring positivity, patience, and resilience to every school day.
