SEND LSA – Disley, Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday), Term Time Only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Sennen Education, in partnership with Milk Education, is working closely with a Specialist School in Disley, Stockport who are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.
This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
About the Role:
You will be supporting a mixed-ability classroom working with pupils who present a range of additional needs, including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Learning Difficulties
Challenging Behaviour
Communication and Language Difficulties
Sensory Impairments
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Complex Medical Needs
You’ll play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking someone who is:
Experienced – a minimum of 3 months working with children (experience with SEND preferred)
Passionate – about supporting children with additional needs
Reliable and Committed – punctual, dependable, and fully engaged in their role
Positive and Resilient – able to manage challenging behaviours and build strong relationships
Eligible to work in the UK
