Are you a creative and compassionate Primary Teacher with a love of the outdoors and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs?
Supply Desk is delighted to be working with a truly unique provision near Haslemere, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Primary SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This setting supports children with a range of special educational needs, including both physical and learning disabilities. The environment is far from traditional—children benefit from the calming presence of animals and outdoor learning opportunities that support emotional regulation and engagement. However, strong foundations in core subjects like English and Maths remain essential, and are delivered in imaginative, flexible, and creative ways.
About the Role:
Full-time teaching post from September until April 2026
Delivering English, Maths, and other core subjects to pupils with a wide range of SEND
Delivering unique and exciting experiences in an adaptive and exciting outdoor area
Planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities (with allocated PPA time)
Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
Promoting a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom atmosphere
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
Experience working with children with additional or complex needs
A calm, trauma-informed approach with an ability to build trust and consistency
A love for animals and the outdoors—this is a key part of the school’s ethos
Creative and flexible teaching style, with a commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing
Knowledge of regulation strategies and inclusive practice
