About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to work in the resource unit of a primary school. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to supporting children with high and complex needs, delivering tailored, high-quality education within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes for pupils with complex SEND
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, support staff, and families
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Maintain detailed records and contribute to EHCP reviews and reports
Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages development and independence
About You:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience working in SEND or resource unit settings
Skilled in supporting children with complex needs, including communication and physical challenges
Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks and legislation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Committed to inclusive education and continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
