SEND Room Supervisor – Cannock Secondary School
Start Date: 1st October 2025
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire
Contract Length: 12-month cover opportunity
Full-Time, Term-Time Only
We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Cannock seeking a dedicated and organised SEND Room Supervisor to join their team from October 2025.
This pivotal role involves the day-to-day supervision of the school’s SEND room — overseeing students with a range of additional needs, delegating tasks to SEND support staff, and carrying out related administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support students accessing the SEND room
* Delegate daily duties and tasks to SEND support staff
* Maintain a calm, purposeful, and inclusive environment for learning
* Liaise with teaching staff, SENCo, and pastoral teams to ensure effective provision
* Carry out SEND-related administrative work and record-keeping
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has experience working with students with SEND, ideally in a secondary school setting
* Is confident managing small groups and leading support staff
* Is well-organised with strong administrative skills
* Has a calm, patient, and professional approach
* Can commit to the full 12-month cover period
